Justice League Movie Resurrected?

The Justice League

With Jeff Robinov taking over as president of the Warner Bros. motion picture group this week, fans of the D.C. heroes Wonder Woman, The Flash, Batman and the Justice League may get to see them step out from their respective comic book pages and onto the big screen!

With scripts for The Flash and Wonder Woman (And a TV pilot in the works) are currently being written already, but the main project at the moment remains to be Justice League. A script for Justice League already exists and has done so since 2007 when the writers guild strike thwarted its development, and now Robinov wants to see it in theatres by 2013.

Batman will be getting a different treatment however, assuming that all goes according to Robinov’s plans. The Dark Knight has already made his big screen debut and has been hugely successful in doing so, but Robinov aims to reboot the franchise again after the third movie titled The Dark Knight Rises.
Speaking to the L.A. Times, Jeff Robinov said, “We have the third Batman, but then we’ll have to reinvent Batman,” he then went on to say “Chris Nolan and Emma Thomas will be producing it, so it will be a conversation with them about what the next phase is.”

Whatever happens, D.C. fans are no doubt in for a treat or two in the near future.
