Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 – Opening Scene Revealed

The End Is Here on July 15th as the Film Harry Potter fans have been eagerly awaiting is released in cinema’s worldwide. Harry Potter and theDeathly Hallows Part 2 is the last film in the highest grossing film franchise of the 20th/21st Century to date and in July, after almost 10 years, the final installment will be revealed. Today however, Harry Potter fans were given their first glimpse of the long awaited movie, as the opening scene from the new film was leaked.

The scene, which immediately follows the last film, where we see our Hero bury his friend, Dobby (the House elf), shows Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) questioning the wandmaker Ollivander (played by Merlin star John Hurt) about the Deathly Hallows: Three objects, than when used together by a wizard, can make he or she the Master of Death.

The scene shows a more Haunted Harry Potter, supported by his two best friends Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) and Ronald Weasley (Rupert Grint), who has become a battle hardened soul – for want of a better term. He is now on the last stages of his quest to defeat the Dark Wizard Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) who has taken over the wizarding world of Britain, and who was responsible for the deaths of Harry parents, James and Lily Potter.

When Ollivander tells the Trio everything he knows of the Hallows (which is identical to the information given to them by Xenophilius Lovegood in the previous film), he then goes on to tell Harry that he knows nothing more on the matter – lying to Harry in the process.

This is because Harry was already made aware, through his connection to Voldemort, that Ollivander had told the wizard where to look: taking the dark wizard to the wandmaker, Gregorovitch and then to the Former Dark Wizard, Gellert Grindelwald who revealed that when he was defeated by Albus Dumbledore, the Former Headmaster of Hogwarts became the Master of the Elder Wand.

Harry alerts Ollivander to this fact.

“He tortured me,” Ollivander says by way of explaination and then adds he does not believe Voldemort could have found the wand. However the wandmaker’s hopes are dashed when Harry tells him that Voldemort has indeed found the Elder Wand (after breaking into the tomb of Albus Dumbledore).

At this point in the trailer epic music is heard as Ollivander speaks the words we have been waiting for.

“He is after you, Mr Potter. If it’s true, what you say, and He has the Elder Wand, I’m afraid you really dont stand a chance.”

Undaunted by Ollivander’s words, Harry retorts with a one liner that would make action heroes proud:

“Well I suppose i’ll have to kill him before he finds me then.”

Can it be July 15th already???
