Turn 10 have today detailed the contents of their Forza 4 collectors edition, and the package – which features some nice Top Gear goodies – looks to die for.
Players buying the CE will be receiving a ton of content for use both in and out of game all which is designed to enhance their Forza 4 experience.
Not least on the list is the 96 page volume titled “Cars of Forza Motorsport 4 presented by Top Gear” which features images from both Forza 4 and Top Gear’s photo library, as well as an “insightful commentary” to accompany the in-game AutoVista experience.
In terms of in-game content, players can look forward to both the “VIP Car Pack” which contains the following:
•2011 Bugatti Veyron Super Sport
•2011 Ferrari 458 Challenge
•2011 Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera
•2010 Noble M600
•2011 RUF Rt 12 R
Also if you order early enough (we suggest now) you will also get the limited quantity “Ship Bonus Car Pack”, which contains the:
•1965 Ford Mustang GT Coupe
•2011 Koenigsegg Agera
•1997 Lexus SC300
•2011 RUF RGT-8
•2011 Tesla Roadster Sport
But wait there is more; Turn 10 are also including a further, ten car add on pack which features a selection of the best American muscle cars, and in addition to this, custom designed BMW cars will be available to players starting from the launch day.
Despite all of this though, the real headline piece of the CE is also the newest edition to the game’s lineup – the 2012 BMW M5 which will be first driveable in Forza 4. The 2012 M5 will feature as the cover car on the CE case, and fans will be able to explore the car further (amongst others) with Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson thanks to Forza 4’s AutoVista mode.
A final in-game bonus for CE owners comes in the form of VIP membership status in the Forza community and a BMW theme available for download via the Xbox LIVE Marketplace.
The deal is further sealed with several vinyl stickers containing the logos of Turn 10, Forza 4 and Top Gear, and if that still isn’t enough, the whole package comes in a polished steelbook case that can only be obtained with the Forza 4 CE.
Racing fans are most definitely in for a treat when Forza 4 releases this fall, and thankfully there’s not long left to wait as the game races onto Xbox 360 consoles starting from the 11th of October.
