Bardock Super Saiyan raw manga scans released

Thanks to DragonBall Z website, we now have the first raw (not translated) scans from the new Bardock manga, Dragonball: Episode of Bardock.

The manga, drawn by Ooishi Naho, the mangaka behind other post-DBZ animations such as “Yo! Son Goku and his friends return!”, follows a “what-if” story in which Bardock achieves the Super Saiyan form – something which hardcore fans of the Saiyan soldier have been wishing to see for many years now.

With the character’s Super Saiyan form having been recently included in the Japanese card-based arcade game, Dragonball Heroes, and Bardock’s loyal fanbase, it was only a matter of time before a manga was spawned.
Super Saiyan Bardock isn’t the only what-if character seen in DragonBall heroes though, as A past inclusion contained Super Saiyan 3 Broly – a character who shortly after his inclusion made his way onto western shores in the DragonBall Raging Blast series of console games. Other characters recently added to DragonBall Heroes include Mystic (Ultimate) Goku, and Super Saiyan 3 Trunks – both of whom fill western fans with a lot of hope for their inclusions in the upcoming Xbox 360/PS3 title, currently known as “DragonBall Game Project Age 2011“.
