No Sue Sylvester For Glee 3D until DVD!

Following the recent adverts featuring everyone’s favourite anti Glee campaigner, Sue Sylvester, it has been announced by the series creator Ryan Murphy, that the forthcoming cinematic release of the Glee: The 3D Concert Movie will not feature the beloved character at all.

But worry ye not track suit fans, as Coach Sylvester has not been cut altogether, for creator Murphy confirmed at a press conference this past weekend that they are currently working on a DVD version of the movie  that will feature the character in all her glory.

It would seem that the reason for this decision is simply that the bits featuring the character were filmed during the tour and then played back on screen in such a way that fans were lead to believe the character was there via satellite. So when it came to the making of the movie itself, these bits seemingly didn’t make sense to keep in, and so despite her heavy presence in the movie’s advertising campaign, Coach Sylvester was at least for now, benched.

Glee: The 3-D Concert Movie arrives in cinemas August 12th in the US, August 19th in the UK and the rest of the world soon after!
