One such way that Fox has raised money is by teaming up with trainer makers Nike and auctioning off on Ebay special sneakers that are designed to be replicas of those worn by Fox’s character Marty McFly in Back To The Future 2. These special Nike Mag sneakers are estimated to cost around $3500 – $5000 at auction, with 150 pairs being sold per day over a period of 10 days, the proceeds of which will be donated to the Michael J Fox Foundation.

The auction, which has been running for a few weeks now, recently attracted some more attention, when on September 24th, Kpop singer Jang Woo Hyuk tweeted the following: “Late night good news. It was really, really hard to get this limited edition of the Nike MagMarty McFly” but it finally came. I’m revealing it to you guys first. Even though I’m happy to have these I’m even more glad that I’m also helping out the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s disease

Jang Woo Hyuk mentioned on his twitter that he will be wearing these sneakers in his up coming music video, “ready for his comeback” and posted the pictures on the left. Jang Woo Hyuk was known as the dancing member of Kpop group ‘H.O.T‘ (High-five OTeenagers) which debuted in 1996 and disbanded in 2001 due to unknown reasons. Jang Woo Hyuk along with ex H.O.T members Tony Ahn and Lee Jae Won then created a three man group called JTL. However, when they didn’t receive much attention they decided to unofficially separate and go into solo careers with Woo Hyuk then becaming the CEO of Newest EntertainmentOn May 28 Woo Hyuk made his come back with the single “Time Is [L]over”.
