Vampire Wedding Casting Competition

If it’s been your dream (or a favourable recurring nightmare) to be a vampire then this might be the opportunity you’ve been looking for.

Vampire Wedding is a unique cross media experience with UK production company Castalides Pictures producing a mini comic series in conjunction with a feature film, both of which are in the works.

Created by Robert Huttinger, Vampire Wedding is a romantic horror comedy that follows the recently heartbroken wedding planner Sophia Heartfield. She’s just been dumped by her fiancé Michael and to make matters worse she finds herself surrounded by vampires plotting to take over the world!

Robert Huttinger and Francesca Lombardo, director of Castalides Pictures, are at London MCM Expo this weekend at the Comic Village, running a raffle where punters can win a special prop of vampire fangs, courtesy of They’re also offering potential vampires the chance to be immortalised as a vampire in their comic book, to be inked and pencilled by Marvel Comics artist Eduardo Baretto. Not just that, but there’s also the opportunity to be seen on screen as a vampire in their upcoming feature film.

If you want to get your teeth stuck in then all you have to do is upload your best vampire impression on Vampire Wedding’s Facebook Page. If you’re not on Facebook then you can email your picture to

The first issue of the six part digital comic is expected to be launched within a few months.
