JYJ’s Yoochun Endorses Korea’s The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword

Recently it was revealed that one member of the three membered boy band JYJ, Yoochun, would be endorsing Nintendo‘s latest game for the Wii consoleThe Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.

The latest game in the popular Legend of Zelda franchise is the prequel to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, released over a decade ago. The game will utilize the Wii MotionPlus to simulate sword-fighting in the game.

The commercial film with JYJ member Yoochun was filmed over four days, with the simple directions of “Play the game.” When watching the CF bellow we see that Yoochun completely forgot the cameras were rolling, and really got into the game. In the intro, Yoochun says he has been a Zelda fan from his early youth and that Ocarina of Time was the first game he played on the Nintendo 64. He claimed, “When I received the endorsement offer, I was happy because I would be able to play the latest version.”

Personal favorite parts of the full length CF are from the 1:33 mark, showing Yoochun deep into the game, getting excited, and then doing what many gamers do when their character dies. Then towards the end, from the 6:14 mark, it goes to show that not only the people playing the game get excited, but also those watching aswell. This is possibly the cutest advertisement that any girl can see, as it shows a completely different side to Yoochun, and will definitely have fangirls all over, squealing with delight. For the boys, this is what you look like when you get overly involved in a game!

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword will be released in the UK on November 18th, North America on November 20th, followed by South Korea on November 24th.

What are your thoughts about the new game? Does the CF make you want to play it? Are you a player or a watcher? Drop us some comments.
