Glee Season 3: Rachel Berry’s Gay Dads Cast!

For three season’s we have heard hints about them and now as part of the special Valentines episode of hit Fox TV musical dramedy, Glee, we will finally meet the adoptive gay dads of the show character Rachel Berry. The episode titled, Hearts, for obvious reasons (It’s being shown on Valentine’s day for those who hadn’t guessed already!) , will feature the first on screen appearance of the pair and it seems that the show’s creators have pulled out all the the stops when casting Hiram and LeRoy Berry.

As a result fans will see Hollywood Legend and Independence Day star, Jeff Goldblum team up with Ugly Betty actor and Broadway veteran Brian Stokes to play the two hitherto unseen characters.

What’s more, in keeping with the nature of the show and following in the footsteps of guests stars before them (Neil Patrick Harris, ER’s John Stamos and Oscar-winner Gwyneth Paltrow to name a few),  both Goldblum and Stokes are expected to sing as part of the episode!  As yet there is no clue as to what the pair will sing and if they will duet with their on-screen daughter, played by actress Lea Michelle, but being as the episode is a Valentines special it would be a safe bet to assume that they may perform a ballad. Until then however we will just have to wait for more news as well as the airing of the episode itself, which will be on the Fox TV network Tuesday 14th February.

What are your thoughts on this casting? What songs do you think Goldblum and Stokes should perform? Add your thoughts in the comments below.

In season one it shows a picture of Rachel and her dads (like a photobooth one in her locker) what happened to them?
