Brock Lesnar: Here Comes The Corn?!

With the whole wrestling world still giddy at the return last Monday of former WWE superstar Brock Lesnar, friend and mentor Paul Heyman has posted a new video featuring the star once dubbed, “The Next Big Thing,” on his website and odds are you will never guess what Lesnar is doing in it.

Following his return to the WWE after an eight year absence, during which time Lesnar carved a name for himself in the world of UFC, the last thing you would expect to see this vicious fighter doing on a video is talking about his passion for……….. harvesting corn in his combine! Yet that’s what the video shows him doing (click play below to view the video). But worry not, I am sure we will not be seeing Lesnar on WWE programming in a straw hat, overalls and chewing corn husks (although if the WWE creative teams handling of Brodus Clay is anything to go by, we might). The video is from Lesnar’s UFC days when one of his major sponsors was the farming equipment company CASE IH, who were coupled with Rocky Mountain Dealerships.

So now that wrestling fans have all breathed a sigh of relief and had a good laugh at the video, don’t forget to tune in to WWE for at least the next year to see more of Lesnar, who is reported to have signed a one year contract worth approximately $5 million and will see him make 30-40 appearances/matches culminating in a match at Wrestlemania 29. A match which is rumoured to be against another former WWE Alumni, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who has also re-signed for another year and has even hinted at a run for the WWE championship title.
