DragonBall Z for Kinect announced!

Namco Bandai have announced that a Kinect DragonBall Z game will be coming out for the Xbox 360 in October.

The game will be devloped by Spike, and both Story Mode and Score Attack modes will be available, allowing you to finally become the Super Saiyan you’ve always dreamed of. 100 different moves including the Kamehameha are also in the game, as well as 50 characters including a completely new one to choose from.

DragonBall Z on the Kinect will utilize QR codes too for the purpose of unlocking more content including characters and power ups. Anime cutscenes will also be used in the game, as well as anime-style camera work and giant boss battles to really bring the DBZ experience to life.

Carlson Choi, Vice President of Marketing, NAMCO BANDAI Games America, said: “There’s going to be no better feeling in the world for fans of the Dragon Ball Z series than standing in front of their screens and unleashing their own fists and raging blasts upon enemies with this game. The Kinect sensor has truly enabled the development team to finally realize the dreams of millions of fans of both the classic games and the timeless original anime. This game will truly represent the next generation of interactive entertainment in the Dragon Ball Z Universe.”
