So what do you think? Are you happy with the nominations? Disappointed Skyfall still hasn’t made James Bond more recognisable to the Oscars? Wish Looper got nominated for Original Screenplay? Yet another snub for Leonardo Di Caprio? Should Christopher Nolan have been nominated for Best Director?

Will Les Misérables be another musical to strike big at the Oscars? Will Quentin Tarantino‘s latest, Django Unchained, sweep big? Look out for reviews for both in the coming days!

Until now dear readers, take the discussion in your own hands in the comments!

Avengers Assemble was critically acclaimed and beloved by fans everywhere? Must be bad.
While I’m not disputing the quality of the nominated films, I can’t shake the feeling that these awards ceremonies are a bit too pretentious for their own good. Just because a movie has superheroes, dragons or spaceships in it, doesn’t mean it can’t be a masterpiece.
