Second Killer is Dead trailer toasts the executioners

Killer Is Dead (Vivienne)

From Kadokawa Games comes a new and even more crazier trailer for Suda51’s Killer is Dead.

Set during a not-so-distant future, players control Mondo Zappa, an executioner who travels across the world to kill criminals. He does so with a unique artificial arm that allows him to change between various weapons. Described as a story of “love and execution” there’s obviously a bit more going on here than just mindless killing.

Playing to the sounds of Ride of the Valkyries, the latest trailer has blood, guns and giant aliens, as well as alluding to a worthwhile life and the Earth being stolen. We also see more of Bryan, a mysterious information trafficker who happens to be one of Mondo’s employers.

The trailer has been released in both Japanese (with subtitles) and English. Both are provided for your viewing pleasure. As expected, it’s the Japanese trailer that retains the ongoing character introductions at the end, and the latest includes one from Vivienne Squall (the one pictured above with 16 arms), who also calls herself Mondo’s boss.

Killer is Dead is to be published in the UK by Deep Silver and is set for release some time this summer for PS3 and Xbox 360.

No Wii U release? A shame, considering how great the No More Heroes games were on Wii.
