Care to take a swim in Capcom’s blood filled swimming pool?

Resident Evil Revelations (Jill Valentine)

To mark the release of Resident Evil: Revelations, Capcom are inviting fans to take a swim in their blood filled swimming pool. Yes.

Those brave enough to dive into the 16ft by 32ft pool will find that it also contains human torsos, brains, floating eyeballs (complete with tendrils), drifting blood clots and intestines as lane markers. However, it might be worth it for there will apparently be Resident Evil merchandise at the bottom of the pool which you can collect and keep. Zombie lifeguards will also be on duty.

The Resident Evil: Revelations blood swimming pool is set against the backdrop of the abandoned cruise ship Queen Zenobia, where much of the action in the upcoming game takes place, with elements recreated at an open air pool located at Jupiter Wharf, East London, E3 2PL (near the Olympic Stadium). The pool is open to the public for two days on 25 and 26 May to those aged 16+ (those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult).

Anyone wishing to swim in the Resident Evil: Revelations pool will need to gain their free ticket in advance by visiting: Ticket sales go live on Monday 20 May at 9am, with only 100 tickets available for each day.

Resident Evil: Revelations is released in the UK for the PC, PS3, Wii U and Xbox 360 on 24 May. However, you can have a little taste of the game before then, with the demo available to download from Xbox Live and Steam from 14 May (15 May for PSN users in Europe).
