The news then, is that ambition for the project is now growing, with the show’s creators at Radio Static attempting to take one giant leap for sci-fi fandom by bringing the story to the big screen.

The-Minister-of-ChanceAs with all their work so far, all of the money for this film is to come directly from those loyal fans who want to see it made. Right now, Radio Static has a major funding drive on, and is hoping to have raised £30,000 by the end of September. This might sound like a lot, but they’ve already passed the £10,000 mark, so with a little extra push, it should be easy.

Perhaps you’re one of those people that drives a hard bargain and isn’t satisfied with just helping to get a brilliant new sci-fi film made? Never fear: there are a whole range of exciting goodies available via the website at a range of prices, including t-shirts, screening tickets, access to additional behind-the-scenes info, a helmet and even a chance to be an extra in the film! Some of the money from all of these will be put towards the new feature, and many include the privilege of having your name in the credits.

Excited now? You should be.
