How Much Do TV Stars Make?

stoppayingfortvHave you ever sat watching your favourite US TV show and found yourself thinking, “I wonder how much they get paid?” Well if you have (or even if you haven’t), thanks to TV Guide you can now find out exactly which TV stars earn the most money and exactly how much they earn. We have picked out a few of the highest earners for you from some of the biggest shows and listed them below via category:

Drama:

MarkHarmonMark Harmon (NCIS) $525,000/£337,759.43 per episode which means per 24 episode season he would receive: £8,106,226.32. He also receives an undisclosed amount of the profits the series makes.

Claire Danes (Homeland) $250,000/ £160,835.80 per episode which means per 13 episode season she would receive: £2,090,865.40.

Michael Weatherly (NCIS) $250,000/ £160,835.80 per episode which means per 24 episode season he would receive: £3,860,059.20.

Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones) $150,000/£96,500.47, per episode which means per 10 episode season he would receive: £965,004.70.


Comedy:

Two And A Half MenAshton Kutcher (Two and A Half Men) $750,000/£482,527.22 per episode which means per season of 23 episodes that equals: £11,098,126.06.

Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons and Kaley Cuoco (The Big Bang Theory) $300,000/£193,013.44 per episode which means per season of 24 episodes they would each receive: £4,632,322.56.

Jason Segel (How I Met Your Mother): $225,000/£ 144,784.40 per episode which means per season of 24 episodes: £3,474,825.60.

Reality TV:

Howard Stern receives a staggering $15 million/£9,652,004.94 per year for America’s Got Talent!

And finally……..

It is also rumoured that following the completion of the seventh series of The Big Bang Theory, Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons and Kaley Cuoco are all expected to renew their contracts at around $1 million/£643,578.22 per episode, which means that they would earn £15,445,877.28 each!
