Marvel Bringing Four New TV Series and A Miniseries to Screens Soon!

After the record breaking debut of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D on both US and UK television, it seems that the studio are keen to keep bringing comic book action to the small screen, as Deadline reports that four new series and a miniseries are in production! These new properties are shrouded in secrecy, but it’s known that “a package of four drama series and a miniseries“, totaling up to 60 episodes, is being prepared by Marvel for both cable television and VOD “with Netflix, Amazon and WGN America rumored as potential candidates“. Whilst there is “very little talent attached” to these properties, the big commitment of 60 episodes means that whatever service picks them up will be able to “capitalize on the Marvel brand”. What exactly these new dramas are is anyone’s guess, though perhaps the recently speculated Agent Carter inspired series based on the recent Marvel One-Shot (found on the Iron Man 3 Blu-Ray) could be among them?

I’m keeping my fingers crossed for Young Avengers or (somehow, miraculously) Sandman
