Beckii Cruel: The Game Kickstarter Project Announced

Announced recently on Twitter, the Isle of Man’s premier (and only) idol, Beckii Cruel has unveiled plans for a forthcoming multi-platform game based on a fictionalised account of her career via Kickstarter.

Touted as a project “so kawaii it hurts” the Kickstarter page presents artwork and screenshots from the in-development title and offers a chance to experience a game that sums up “all things Beckii” to those who pledge interest and money to the project.

Promising an experience in which the player may guide Beckii in her career as an idol by making internet videos, collaborating with other dancers, staging contests, and even designing clothing, the idea of Beckii Cruel: The Game is something akin to the BROCCOLI and GAINAX developed Neon Genesis Evangelion Raising games released between 2001 and 2004.

Featuring music from Sparkles* of Area 11 and boasting some striking super deformed caricatures of Beckii at various stages of her career, the game is planned for a 2014 release with a drive to raise the final goal of £20,000 by Friday, 29th November 2013.

To be a part of the fundraising for this engaging new step in Beckii‘s career, head on over to Kickstarter or the game’s official page for further details.
