The Cat and the Bat are cast in Gotham

For the past few weeks we have been hearing updates and casting news from Fox and Warner Brothers about their much anticipated upcoming Bat-drama, Gotham, which follows Jim Gordon’s early years as a young beat cop.

Well good news is here old chums, those lovely people at Fox have finally announced the casting of the final two regular characters in the show, Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle.

David MazouzDavid Mazouz (Touch) is to take on the role of the preteen Bruce Wayne, who has sentenced himself to a solitary life following the tragic murder of his wealthy parents.

Serious and solemn, young master Bruce must rely on the guidance and protection of his loyal, yet battle hardened butler Alfred Pennyworth and Jim Gordon.

Camren BicondovaActing newcomer Camren Bicondova, has been cast as Selina Kyle, a highly skilled teenage thief and pickpocket, who is often suspicious and wholly unpredictable. Much like Bruce, Selina is an orphan and can be dangerous, if cornered.

Mazouz and Bicondova join a rather exciting cast of series regulars, who include Ben Mckenzie (James Gordon), Donal Logue (Harvey Bullock), Zabryna Guevara (Captain Essen), Erin Richards (Barbara Kean), Sean Pertwee (Alfred Pennyworth), Robin Lord Taylor (Oswald Cobblepot), and Jada Pinkett Smith (Fish Mooney).
