Video Games Live announce over 50 worldwide concerts

Video Games Live (Logo)The immersive concert experience Video Games Live focuses on music from popular video game franchises such as Halo, Castlevania, The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario, Sonic the Hedgehog and many more. They just had their first performance of the year in Phoenix, Arizona over the weekend and there are many more to come.

Over 50 performances have been announced for around the world, with concerts to take place in the US, Mexico, Europe, South America, China and more, with a host of new venues.

Special guests include Blizzard Entertainment audio director and composer Russell Brower, Gerard Marino (God of War), Austin Wintory (Journey) and Eimear Noone (Blizzard conductor and The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses concert conductor). They have also hinted that there will be “game composer friends from Japan”, but have not revealed any names yet.

November 2014 sees Video Games Live touring Europe, visiting England, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Sweden and more. For the majority of our readers in the UK, Video Games Live will be in Manchester at the O2 Apollo on 1 November, and in London at Eventim Apollo on 2 November.
