Beginning at next month’s event, the MCM London Comic Con‘s popular JapanEx area will be rebranded as “Pop Asia“, in response to a growing interest in culture from the Far East region as a whole. In addition to the usual array of Japanese food, art, music and film, the convention will now seek to reflect the UK’s appreciation of things like Indonesian film and K-pop music.

Meanwhile, the market-style “Kawaii Alley” will be packed full of diverse exhibitors such as the Japan Centre, the British Origami Society, Cutesy Kink, Tofu Cute, Doki and the Tokyo Kudan Store. Finally, at the food court, tasty treats will be on offer from the likes of Nice Ice, Peko Peko, Sasuke and Wagashi, while a large seating area will provide plenty of space for hungry visitors to enjoy their food.
