Warwick Davis confirms his appearance in new Star Wars movie

After being asked the question at conventions, many many times (including this past July at MCM Manchester Comic Con) and answering no, Warwick Davis finally has been able to give fans the news they had longed to hear, yes he would be returning to a galaxy far far away in Star Wars VII.

In a tongue and cheek video which can be seen below, on the Star Wars Youtube channel Warwick, the actor best known for his appearance as Wicket the Ewok in Return of The Jedi, confirms the appearance via a skit in which he emphasises that after a years wait he has finally had the call and can confirm his appearance. Which he does by shouting YES, at the top of his voice.

As yet there is no news on the role he will be playing but with various cameos in the Star Wars movies since Return of the Jedi, there will be we are sure many roles that he could be used for. Although if the films are set to follow on from Episode VI then it could be possible for Warwick to return as an adult Wicket, who knows maybe the actors children could play Wickets children….

Chances are more news on his role will emerge in due course but in the meantime we will just have to wait until the films December 2015 release for final confirmation.

What are your thought on the news of Warwick’s return? Who would you like to see back in Star Wars Episode VII? Let us know in the comments below.
