European dates revealed for Japanese girl band SCANDAL’s 「HELLO WORLD」tour

With the likes of Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, Perfume, Miyavi and BABYMETAL touring Europe, it’s no surprise that more big named acts from Japan begin to see the growth of Japanese music fans. Following the news last month that the all girl Japanese band SCANDAL would be embarking on a world tour next year, it was recently announced that B7klan and Torpedo Productions are bringing them to Paris and London.

Formed in 2006 as schoolgirls, the SCANDAL members Haruna Ono, Mami Sasazaki, Tomomi Ogawa and Rina Suzuki performed live performances around Osaka before they were asked to join indie label Kitty Records in 2008. They released three singles and a mini album and had the chance to tour around Hong Kong, the United States and France. The group are well known for performing the theme songs from anime such as “Shojo S” and “Harukaze” for Bleach, as well as “Shunkan Senitmental” for Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

SCANDAL will be performing in Paris at Le Bataclan on April 25th and at the London Islington Academy on April 26th. We have also been told that a third date and venue will be announced on December 3rd, so be sure to check back for more information as it is released.

Tickets will go on sale on November 26th but for any questions or for more information be sure to check out B7Klan’s Facebook, Twitter and website.

In the meantime, check out SCANDAL’s latest song and video “Yoake No Ryuuseigun” below, and give the girls some encouraging words on their Facebook, Twitter and official website.
