After a trailer was accidentally leaked out for Street Fighter V last week, Capcom rushed to remove it from YouTube. When it did officially emerge, they also showcased a special gameplay trailer.

The Rise Up trailer shows just how far the Street Fighter franchise has come and where it will go. What many noted from this trailer was the words, “Exclusively on PS4 and PC.” When Capcom revealed Street Fighter V at the PlayStation Experience, Sony’s vice president of publisher and developer relations, Adam Boyes, confirmed that, “PS4 will be the only console this game ever appears on.” It was also revealed that the game will feature cross-platform play, so PS4 and PC users can play against each other.

A gameplay trailer was also shown at the event, featuring the iconic characters Ryu and Chun-Li going through a range of special moves and combos upon each other.

There is currently no release date for the game, but Capcom have announced that fans can see Street Fighter V in action during the Capcom Cup, with the event being streamed live on 13 December.
