Things Heat Up in the New Avengers: Age of Ultron Trailer

Released last night, the newest trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron shows things looking pretty hairy for the superhero six, with fear and frustration leading to some nasty and rather brutal in-fighting.

Things heat up particularly between Iron Man and The Hulk, while elsewhere, Elizabeth Olson makes a suitably dramatic entrance as Scarlet Witch, one of two new additions to the team – the other being her character’s brother, Quicksilver, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Former S.H.I.E.L.D. boss Nick Fury also puts in an appearance, stating bleakly that “No matter who wins or loses, trouble always comes around.”

This feels like the darkest bit of Avengers footage we’ve seen yet, with Ultron already proving himself a formidable foe for the Avengers. Like the previous teaser, this trailer is once again accompanied by a fittingly creepy take on “I’ve Got No Strings” from Disney’s Pinocchio, heightening tension and perhaps hinting at Ultron’s child-like perspective on the world.
