Dragon Quest Heroes is a PlayStation 4 exclusive in the west

Ahead of its launch in Japan this week, Square Enix has announced its action-based role-playing game Dragon Quest Heroes will be coming to Europe in 2015. However, while Japanese gamers get the videogame on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 consoles, the European release is so far scheduled only for the PS4.

Yuji Horii, director and creator of Dragon Quest, has been closely involved in bringing this title to life, as has Koichi Sugiyama, the composer for the series since its first instalment and creator of countless fan-favourite musical masterpieces. Development team Omega Force from Koei Tecmo Games has also been hard at work on Dragon Quest Heroes.
