Scarecrow Wages War Against Gotham in New Batman: Arkham Knight Trailer

The nefarious villains of Gotham prepare for an anarchic assault on the Dark Knight and the very city he protects in Batman: Arkham Knight’s latest trailer.

Under the influence of the deeply sinister Scarecrow, the criminals of Gotham, from crime bosses to wallet-pinchers everywhere are encouraged to run riot in the streets. Rogues Gallery members to join the party include Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, Two-Face, The Penguin, The Riddler and the ever-mysterious Arkham Knight.

As well as bringing to life Gotham’s most feared evil-doers, the trailer gives us a further glimpse into Rocksteady’s last hurrah with the Caped Crusader, and it’s clear we can expect more bone-crunching action, beautiful world realisation and incredible storytelling that Rocksteady’s Arkham games have championed.

The new Batmobile is also featured in the trailer fighting the good fight at high speeds with some heavy artillery. As the newest known addition to the series’ so far excellent gameplay this is something all batfanatics can get excited for, even though there is still no sign of Adam West’s batcylcle making an appearance.
