You can now vote to have a new character added to Super Smash Bros.


While checking out the roster of characters in Super Smash Bros. have you ever thought to yourself, “It would be great if Sora was in this game?” Now is the time to stop wondering, for during the latest Nintendo Direct stream on April 1st it was announced, that you can now vote to have a new character that you believe should be added into the game.

All you have to do is visit their website, fill in the form and give a brief description as to why your chosen character should appear in Super Smash Bros. The deadline for submissions is October 3rd 2015, after which Nintendo President and CEO Satoru Iwata and director of Smash Bros, Masahiro Sakuri, will take each suggestion into consideration.

Along with this, there were new fighters announced, Lucas, who is the main character in Mother 3 (Earthbound 2), which was released in Japan on the Game Boy Advance. Lucas originally appeared in Smash Bros. Brawl alongside Ness on the Nintendo Wii. Lucas will be available as downloadable content from June. Nintendo have not announced how much this DLC will cost.


Along with Lucas, Mewtwo will aslo be available as DLC from April 28th for £3.59. Those who registered their games with Club Nintendo and received a code, will be able to download Mewtwo earlier, from April 5th.


There is also some new content for the Mii Fighters in the form of new costumes, from SSB shirts, a Link outfit and cap and Majora’s Mask to monkey costumes. Check out the video below to see the Mii Fighters in their new gear.
