Five Nights at Freddy'sIT’S ME.

Freddy and Co. are heading to the big screen. Warner Brothers have acquired the rights to Five Nights at Freddy’s and will be heading up production. Vertigo Entertainment’s Roy Lee (The Grudge, Run All Night, The Ring) will be producing it alongside Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg of KatzSmith Productions (both are working on the Beetlejuice sequel). The game’s creator Scott Cawthon will have a hand in the production aswell. The project is currently put out to writers.

Ffnaf2ive Nights at Freddy’s, or FNAF for short, is a hugely popular indie horror, point and click game. Players have to survive the night at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza restaurant by constantly checking the cameras and doors and keeping the animatronics at bay, or you will be stuffed into one of the empty suits in an untimely death.

There are currently three games in the series, each being harder than the previous one. There are different versions of the animatronics, regular, withered, toy and phantom. It will be quite interesting to see which ones will be used in the movie. It is not known if there will be a fourth game in the series, but you can keep an eye on Scott’s website as he does like to leave clues.

Check out the video below to see the characters from each game (there’s no jump scares).
