You knew it was going to happen sooner or later: the zombie western is coming to your screens.

And it’s coming in the form of a TV movie spin on The Magnificent Seven, called Dead Seven, from the producers of the infamous Sharknado series. And it’s full of ageing boy band members.

US TV host Carrie Keagan is set to be star alongside Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter (left) who has also written the script. It’s about a ragtag group of gunslingers, that also includes NSYNC’s Joey Fatone and Backstreet Boys’ AJ McLean and Howie Dorough, as they try to make their way in a postapocalyptic world full of zombies, reports Deadline. The gunslingers wind up stranded in a town and forced to make a choice on either to save the citizens of the town or save themselves.

Wonder if anyone’s asked Donny Osmond if he wants to take part?
