Sci-Fi Come Dancing: SF & Fantasy’s Dance floor Divas

With this year’s Strictly Come Dancing just about to end, we thought we’d collect together some of sci-fi and fantasy’s most notorious and/or bizarre dance scenes to see what the judges would make of them…

Gamer

Performer: Ken Castle (Michael C Hall)

Music: “I’ve Got You Under My Skin”

Bruno Tonioli: You jerk and twitch like a puppet having its strings cut one by one. It was brave. It was modern. It was very strange. I LOVED IT!
Len Goodman: Your posture was terrible.
Darcey Bussell: Simply marvellous.
Craig Revel Horwood: I think you have no bones under your skin. Limp, my darling, limp.

Tank Girl

Performer: Tank Girl (Lori Petty), Jett Girl (Naomi Watts), The Madame (Ann Magnuson) & others

Music: “Let’s Do It”

Bruno Tonioli: You have a cheeky, rough energy, like an oversexed poodle in candy floss factory. I LOVED IT!
Len Goodman: That wasn’t a dance routine that was a football terrace chant.
Darcey Bussell: Simply marvellous.
Craig Revel Horwood: I would rather have sex with a mutant kangaroo than sit through that again.

Indiana Jones & The Temple Of Doom

Performer: Willie Scott (Kate Capshaw)

Music: “Anything Goes”

Bruno Tonioli: You lit the room up like an arsonist in a firework factory. You glided around the room like BB-8 on baby oil. I LOVED IT!
Len Goodman: Surrounding yourself with people who can really dance was a clever idea.
Darcey Bussell: Simply marvellous.
Craig Revel Horwood: Darling, that was more like the tango of doom. Shudder.

Supernatural

Performer: Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles)

Music: “The Eye Of The Tiger”

Bruno Tonioli: You sent shivers down my spine. That was pure testosterone in dance form. You can dance on my hot rod any time. I may need a lie down I LOVED IT!
Len Goodman: That was like Grease Lightning without the lightning.
Darcey Bussell: Simply marvellous.
Craig Revel Horwood: Not so much the the eye of the tiger as the kidneys of the dingo. Dreadful, darling.

Doctor Who “The Big Bang”

Performer: The Eleventh Doctor (Matt Smith)

Music: “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” Queen

Bruno Tonioli: Oh, you are all wibbly-wobbly four-timey-wimey giraffeyness. I LOVED IT.
Len Goodman: That was a real crowd pleaser. It’s just a shame the crowd were all five years old.
Darcey Bussell: Simply marvellous.
Craig Revel Horwood: I feel the need for a doctor.
