SPECTRE – Final Trailer Released

Back in the Roger Moore days, if a villain asked James Bond, “Why did you come?” that would have been a cue for smutty sniggers. With Daniel Craig, he replies with a chilling, “I came to kill you.” But then director Sam Mendes inserts one of those sly Bond references that made Skyfall such a treat for fans: “And I thought you came here to die.” Sweet.

This is, apparently, the “final” trailer for SPECTRE (though we’re bound to see various cut-down versions of it on TV) and features a little more story. Thankfully Sam Smith’s whiney theme tune is nowhere near the soundtrack. First Bond theme ever to make number one in the UK charts? There is no justice.
