the_martian••• Director Ridley Scott’s The Martian, starring Matt Damon as an astronaut stranded on Mars, took number one at the North American box office this weekend with a haul of $55m.

He recently partook in the MIP Junior Conference during which he revealed that a writers room was assembled over the summer for the Transformers franchise. “We decided we wanted to plot out the next 10 years, and so we got together in a room over a three month period of time… [and] plotted out the next 10 years of TransformersTransformers 5 is on the way. And 6 and 7 and 8.”
