Disney has announced a whole bunch of new movie release dates which has seen some frantic swapping around for the release schedules at Marvel and Pixar. The biggest news, though, is that Marvel has confirmed that an Ant-Man sequel has been added to its slate, called Ant-Man And The Wasp.

The Ant-Man sequel is scheduled for a 6 July 2018 release, the date previously reserved for Black Panther, which will now open earlier, on 16 February 2018. However, Marvel’s first movie to headline a female superhero, Captain Marvel, is being pushed back even further from 2 November 2018 to 8 March 2019 (that won’t go down well), just two months before Avengers: Infinity — Part II makes its bow. Three other untitled Marvel titles have been dated for 2020.

Meanwhile, over at Pixar, Cars 3 will be released on 16 June 2017 and The Incredibles 2 on 21 June 2019. To make room for the Cars 3, Toy Story 4 is being pushed back just shy of a whole year from 16 June 2017 to 15 June 2018.

Coco will be out on 22 November 2017 while the Disney Animation title Gigantic is set for 6 March 2018.
