christ_vance_non_supergirl••• Chris Vance (Transporter, pictured left) has been cast as Krytonian criminal Non in the new Supergirl TV series. It will be a recurring role on the show, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

steve_zahn••• Steve Zahn (TremeDiary Of A Wimpy Kid, Dallas Buyers Club, pictured right) will be strapping on a motion capture leotard, as he has been cast as a new ape character in War For The Planet Of The Apes. Matt Reeves, who directed Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes, is returning as director. ••• Looks like TV show Fantasy Island could be on its way back… but without the island this time. Apparently instead the new project will be set at a company called Fantasy Island that helps fulfill its clients’ deepest, darkest fantasies. Up In The Air’s Sheldon Turner will write the script and executive-produce alongside Jennifer Klein and Drop Dead Diva’s Josh Berman for ABC. ••• Actor Neal McDonough (above) has revealed in an interview with that his Arrow character, baddie Damien Darhk, will also be crossing over into Legends Of Tomorrow and The Flash. “I did an episode of Legends last week, and I look exactly the same in 1975. But you see he’s not as confident and doesn’t have such an agenda 40 years ago as he does now.”

In an interview to promote Bridge Of Spies, which stars Tom Hanks, the Indiana Jones director casually seems to confirm he’ll be directing a fifth Indy movie… or is he just being a tease? “We’ve gotta figure this out because now…Tom is tied with Harrison Ford: Harrison and I did four movies, Tom and I have done four movies. Now I’ll probably do an Indy 5 with Harrison. It’ll be five for Harrison, four for Tom… Then, I’ve got to make another one with Tom, so that will be five for Tom, five for Harrison. ••• The debut episode of American Horror Story: Hotel in the States has become the second highest rated show in terms of viewers on FX ever, beaten only by the American Horror Story: Freak Show premiere.
