••• The original Batmobile from the ’60s Batman series is on sale again less than two years after it last changed hands for $4.62 million. It’s now on the market for $5 million. Not a bad price for a car bought from Ford for $1 by car customiser George Barris, who transformed it into the Batmobole in 15 days for a budget of $15,000. ••• Director Rob Marshall (Chicago, Into The Woods, Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides) says that Disney’s new Mary Poppins film will not be a reboot, remake, prequel or sequel but an “extension”: “It is not a new Mary Poppins. PL Travers wrote eight books all together. [The original film] worked from the first book, and we are working from the other books, not touching the iconic brilliance of Mary Poppins. This is an extension. I’m a huge fan of the original, and I’m a very good friend of Julie Andrews, and I hold it in such awe. There is all this new material — it was the Harry Potter of its time — and they were never turned into anything further than that adventure.” [via /Film]

••• Two new TV trailers for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2.
