Sneak Peek Of New Star Wars Attractions At Disney Theme Parks

While construction on Disney’s new Star Wars Lands has yet to begin, Disney has unveiled plans for Star Wars-related experienced at both it California and Florida resorts in the meantime that will take advantage of the release of  The Force Awakens.

The Star Wars Launch Bay, which opens on 1 December, features exhibits and behind-the-scenes peeks plus a chance to meet both Chewbacca and Darth Vader. In addition, Star Tours – The Adventures Continue will feature a brand-new section, straight out of the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which will be shown as part of every “Star Tours” ride in the opening months of the new film (see below – although it just looks like a bit of the trailer to us…).

There will also be an updated version of Jedi Training: Trials Of The Temple opening in early December, enabling “younglings” to take part in their own Jedi training and also face off against Darth Vader and new Star Wars Rebels villain The Seventh Sister.

Work officially begins on the 14-acre Star Wars Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios next year along with the Star Wars-themed land at Disneyland.
