TRIBUTE: The Cult Entertainment Stars & Creators We Lost in 2015

As 2015 draws to an end let’s pause for a moment and pay tribute to the real heroes of cult entertainment – the people who create for us – who sadly passed away this year. Thank you, each and every one of you, for bringing an extra bit of fun, joy and beauty into our lives.

Lam Pou-chuen

Hong Kong dubbing artist, best known for voicing the character Doraemon for the Hong Kong version of the anime for over 20 years in addition to providing the Cantonese voice of Sammo Hung in many of his dubbed blockbusters.

British film producer on many of Stanley Kubrick’s films, including, A Clockwork Orange, plus such other films as Manhunter, the Ben Affleck Daredevil and Flash Gordon.

British make-up artist – Willow, Alien, The Killing Fields. She was the head of make-up at the BBC from the late 1950s to the early 1960s and is famous for preparing Queen Elizabeth II for the first televised Royal Christmas Message in 1957.
