The Force Awakens Opening Crawl Edited For (Mocking) Men’s Rights Group

A men’s rights group (oh dear) in America called… well, we’re not going to tell you what they’re called because you might cut and paste the name and Google them, and their site really doesn’t deserve the hits. The group is named in the video below but we reckon if you’re interested in what they have to say you probably have problems with thinking, let alone spelling. Anyway, they’re claiming that their campaign to boycott Star Wars: The Force Awakens because – gasp – it promotes women and people from ethnic backgrounds has cost Disney $4.2 million (honestly, the calculations they’ve done to come up with this figure are hilariously unprovable, based on that trusted statistical method known as “we asked some mates” ). They also use the phrase “manosphere” with any hint of irony.

But just in case Disney is worried about losing out on the bigot dollar, US chat show host Jimmy Kimmel has kindly re-edited the opening crawl to appeal to the neanderthal demo. The final gag should go down as a classic.
