The Flash & Supergirl Crossover Is Actually, Definitely, Really Happening

Although they’re on different networks in the States – and although the producers of the shows had downplayed the prospect whenever they were (frequently) asked the question – CBS has confirmed that there will be a Flash/Supergirl crossover in March (US pace).

Wonder if they’ll have a race to see who’s fastest?

So here’s what’s happening. Grant Gustin’s Flash will be making his way to National City in an episode of Supergirl that will air in the States on Monday 28 March.

“We are so incredibly excited to announce something that we have dreamed of happening since we starting making Supergirl – the Flash and Supergirl are teaming up!” said The Flash and Supergirl executive producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg. “We want to thank Grant Gustin for making the time to come visit (on top of his already immense workload) and all of the folks at CBS, The CW, Warner Bros and DC for working this out. And finally thanks to the fans and journalists who have kept asking for this to happen. It is our pleasure and hope to create an episode worthy of everyone’s enthusiasm and support.”

This will be the second time DC universe shows from different networks have crossover, following  second time that Matt Ryan’s John Constantine appearing on Arrow last year. Constantine originally aired on NBC.
