No Thanos Or Infinity Stones In Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 Says Director

Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 director James Gunn has taken part in a FaceBook Q&A with fans in which he revealed little about will be in the Marvel movie sequel but more about what won’t be.

1 There will be no Infinity Stones: “We’re not really so much about the Infinity Stones in Guardians 2,” says Gunn says. “Is that a spoiler?”

2 There will be no Thanos: “No. He’s not in the film… There’s no sadness. I chose the story to tell in Vol. 2 because it’s the story I wanted to tell! It just happens not to include Thanos.”

3 There will be no Avengers cameos.

Gunn did, however, confirm that Tyler Bates will be returning to score the sequel said he hoped Stan Lee will appear in a cameo.

The director has also posted another image from rehearsals for the film, this time featuring Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana.

Going over some script stuff one last time before we start shooting Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
