Ghostbusters’ New Ghostly Villain Revealed At Toy Fair

The new supernatural big bad for this year’s Ghostbusters has been revealed… kinda. The action figure version was unveiled at Toy Fair in New York. Pixel Dan got the scoop [via Coming Soon] as Mattel showed off its new Ghostbusters toy range.

The big ghostie, which looks like an evil version of the spook in the famous Ghostbusters logo, is called Rowan, which ties in with the fact that comedian Neil Casey was cast as a character called Rowan whom many pundits were touting as a Gozer-(from the first film)-style villain. It looks like it could be a motion-capture performance, then.

Pixel Dan has also shot a video of the rest of the action figures in the Ghostbusters range which you can watch below.

Ghostbusters, directed by Paul Feig, will be released in the UK on 15 July.
