The official mascot of MyM appears on page three of the magazine, above the editor’s letter. She has been drawn in many forms by MyM readers, as well as by a number of professional artists.
Children’s illustrator Farnell began with a pen and ink sketch, which he then scanned in and coloured in Photoshop.
You can find more of his work at his online portfolio. We love some of his character art, including this Space Rabbit he did for Inktober.
To submit your own version of Mya Tenshi and be in with the chance of winning a bag of goodies – including games, movies and other exclusives – email your artistic vision to email@example.com. Full competition terms and conditions can be found here.
