••• Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Ben Affleck’s agent Patrick Whitesell revealed that the actor is only currently contracted for two more appearances as Batman. “He’s contracted to do at least Justice League One and Two, so at least three times wearing the cape… There’s a script that he’s written that is a really cool [Batman] idea, so that’s out there as an option.” A solo Bat-movie written by Affleck? That sounds intriguing.

••• Max Landis agents are looking for buyers for his new spec script for a new sci-fi thriller Deeper that has Bradley Cooper locked in to star and White God helmer Kornel Mundruczo to direct. And considering Landis recently sold another spec script, Bright, to Netflix (starring Will Smith and Joel Edgerton with David Ayer directing) interest is big for this one. Deeper is about a disgraced astronaut who embarks on a mission to reach the bottom of a newly discovered oceanic trench, possibly the lowest point on planet Earth. He soon finds himself in a psychological – and physical – fight against mysterious forces. Landis apparently describes it as, “Birdman + The Shining + Locke + 2001 + The Descent + Miyazaki”. Oddly no mention of The Abyss. [via Deadline]

Honestly, I don’t know. They haven’t got their ducks in a row yet. They make it up as they go along.” So that’s settled then. Ragnarok will be Loki’s last appearance. Unless it isn’t.
