••• Former showrunner on the US version of The Returned Raelle Tucker has joined Jessica Jones season two as an executive producer serving alongside creator/showrunner Melissa Rosenberg. She replaces  Liz Friedman, who departed Jessica Jones to work on her ABC pilot, Conviction. [via Comic Book Resources]

••• According to The Tracking Board, Akiva Goldsman (The Da Vinci Code, Batman And Robin, A Beautiful Mind) is writing the script for the movie version of Stephen King’s sequel to The ShiningDoctor Sleep. This is Goldsman’s second recent King adaptation having worked on The Dark Tower movie script.  Doctor Sleep was published in 2013.

••• The Tracking Board reports that Goosebumps director Rob Letterman will be helming the long-in-developing Dungeons & Dragons movie adaptation for Warner Bros. Letterman’s other feature films include Gulliver’s Travels, Monsters vs. Aliens and Shark Tale.

••• Disney has released an IMAX trailer for  featuring an introduction from Lupita Nyong’o (Star Wars: The Force Awakens), who voices the wolf mother Raksha in the film.
