Here’s a story that’s part fact, part speculation. But Buzz, like many fans getting excited about the speculation on the internet, really hopes the guesswork turns out to be fact too.
The fact: Suits stars Patrick J Adams (he plays Mike Ross in the legal drama) has been signed up for two episodes of Legends Of Tomorrow in an undisclosed role. The rumour: that role is Booster Gold, DC’s glory-seeking hero from the future, who started his comic book life as a bit of a conman (using his knowledge of future events to make himself look good in the past) but came good later on.
Adams’s character will debut in the Legends Of Tomorrow season one finale ”Legendary” and will continue on into the season two premiere. There is also potential for further guest appearances after that.
As Comic Book Resources has pointed out this has lead fans to put two and two together; in an interview earlier this year, DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns said that the company has plans for Booster Gold: “You’ll see him very soon… there’s actually a lot of plans for Booster Gold, one of my favourite characters. But yeah, Booster Gold fans, you will definitely be happy with what we’ve got coming up in the years ahead.”
Patrick J Adams certainly looks like the trad image of the character in the comics universe if nothing else.
