With the event now under a month away the guests for MCM London Comic Con are coming thick and fast. The latest announcement see’s the addition of Arrow star, Willa Holland added to this growing list.
Currently playing Thea Queen on the hit CW series, this talented young actress has been in front of one camera or another since the age of seven. She has appeared in a shows such as The OC and Gossip Girl, and movies such as Legion and Tiger Eyes....
A new spinoff from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is currently in development for ABC, Entertainment Weekly reports. Calm yourselves, Marvel fans!
The series is being developed by S.H.I.E.L.D. Executive Producer Jeffrey Bell (Angel, The X-Files) and writer Paul Zbyszewski (Lost, Hawaii Five-0), with no firm release date currently scheduled.
In fact, so far, what we know about the story is pretty much nothing, other than that there’ll be some sort...
And that is just fantastic sounding news.
While 2014’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles didn’t exactly make for a brilliant installment of the Turtles franchise, it certainly still made bank at the box office. A fair few things worked for it, a fair few things didn’t, but probably the most criminal exclusion from the film – other than Bebop and Rocksteady – is the lack of Casey Jones.

Over at San Diego Comic-Con this week, lucky con goers were treated to a first look at Season Three of CW’s Arrow during the Arrow panel on Friday. This series features Brandon Routh returning as Ray Palmers, Karl Yune as Maseo as well as Colton Haynes in full costume as Arsenal (pictured).

With the new fall season soon to start, the promotion for both new series and the returning favourites continues to pick up pace. Joining the fray recently was the WB Network when they released a teaser (click play below to view the teaser) that combines two of their shows, that of Arrow (last year’s sophomore hit based on DC’s Green Arrow) and The Tomorrow People (the remake of the cult 1970s UK show of the same name).

Last year saw the CW network having discussions in trying to adapt Koushun Takami’s novel Battle Royale for US television. Back then CW president Mark Pedowitz said “We’d love to do it.” Now during a meeting at the Television Critics Association he has revealed that the project is no longer happening.
