Alien Has Special Facehugger Move In Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack 2 Gameplay Trailer
Here’s the new gameplay trailer for Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack 2 which spotlights the new Kombatants being introduced to the game’s playable roster in 2016 including the Alien xenomorph, Leatherface, Triborg and Bo’ Rai Cho. Leatherface is certainly mighty handy with his trusty chainsaw – watch that man disembowel – while the Alien has a special move involving a facehugger launching itself from an egg.   • Uncharted 4: Striking...

NRA Releases iOS Game

NRA Releases iOS Game
The National Rife Association has released an app for iOS systems called ‘NRA: Practice Range’. Developed by MEDL Mobile, it is a simple game in which you practice shooting targets with guns either outside or in a shooting range. You unlock more guns as you earn more money. It has been widely criticised, seeing as how it was released on the one-month anniversary of the shooting in Newtown, Connecticut. It carried a 4+ rating at launch, but has...

Soul Calibur V Review

Soul Calibur V Review
The word “gratuitous” comes to mind whilst talking about the Soul Calibur series, with its gratuitous story, absurd weapons and characters. Whilst most of the game is lighthearted, fun and a great multiplayer game, there are some things I need to address before delving into the mechanics, customisation and all that. I’m not a fan of the way that Namco has marketed this game in some of their posters. For those who do not know, they are risqué...

New Halo Movie Pictures?

New Halo Movie Pictures?
Back in 2007 Halo fans were presented with this trailer from rising talent Neill Blomkamp and producer  Peter Jackson. Suddenly there was hope that there were people out there who could actually make a good film based on a video game. Unfortunately, the film deal fell through due to issues with Microsoft and the creative team decided to take the accumulated resources and the result was the brilliant  District 9. Fast forward to today and Machinima,...

Mortal Kombat banned Down Under

Mortal Kombat banned Down Under

Not surprising the board found the game too violent and therefore unsuitable for persons under the age of 18 to play. As the Australian rating system doesn’t know a “mature” or R18+ rating the game has officially been refused a classification which means it cannot be sold in the land of Oz. The board seemed to...
