Avengers: Age of Ultron 3D review

Avengers: Age of Ultron 3D review
Since its announcement in May 2012, speculation as to whether writer-director Joss Whedon could do it all again and create a blockbuster sequel to 2012’s The Avengers was rife, along with questions about which Marvel characters would be next to make the leap from page to screen. Avengers: Age of Ultron sees the return of Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Captain America (Chris Evans), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), The...

Things Heat Up in the New Avengers: Age of Ultron Trailer

Things Heat Up in the New Avengers: Age of Ultron Trailer
Released last night, the newest trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron shows things looking pretty hairy for the superhero six, with fear and frustration leading to some nasty and rather brutal in-fighting. Things heat up particularly between Iron Man and The Hulk, while elsewhere, Elizabeth Olson makes a suitably dramatic entrance as Scarlet Witch, one of two new additions to the team – the other being her character’s brother, Quicksilver,...

An All-New Captain America and Avengers Line-up

An All-New Captain America and Avengers Line-up
Following on from the recent news of a female Thor, Marvel have made another big announcement. Joe Quesada, made an appearance on the Colbert Report and revealed that Sam Wilson would be taking on the stars and stripes as the new Captain America. If that name doesn’t sound familiar (if you watched Captain America: The Winter Soldier, it should), Sam Wilson is The Falcon. “I’ve been having a lot of fun writing Sam. It’s a completely different...

Casting Call for The Avengers sequel reveals the New Origin of Ultron *SPOILERS!*
A casting call for The Avengers: Age of Ultron has revealed some very intriguing plot points regarding the new origin of Ultron. Warning, this is potentially a major spoiler so you have been warned! Yesterday I had my suspicions that Iron Man could be the one to invent Ultron in the movie version of the story. It would make sense seeing as he’s the only one in the group who makes a living inventing things. That suspicion has now been confirmed....

Robert Downey Jr. WILL be back as Iron Man for Avengers 2
Marvel fans, it’s time to celebrate! Robert Downey Jr. WILL be back as Iron Man. It’s officially been announced by Marvel that Robert Downey Jr. has signed on for a two-picture agreement. That means he’ll be in both Avengers 2 and Avengers 3. While another Iron Man movie is bound to happen, it’s likely at this point that Marvel are going to let the franchise rest for a while. They’ve got some other characters to bring...

Iron Man 3 Review

Iron Man 3 Review
In 2008 Robert Downey Jr. hit the big screen as Iron Man in Marvel Studios’ first self-financed film, and what an introduction it was. As the first piece in their Avenger initiative, Iron Man was every comic book fans dream and Robert Downey Jr., who portrayed Tony Stark to perfection, was propelled back to the acting A-list, where he has always belonged. Five years later and it is again Iron Man that is the first one out of the traps kicking...
