Lobo co-creator passes away
The co-creator of comic book character Lobo and producer of the first season of Yu-Gi-Oh!, Roger Silfer has passed away aged 60. Silfer has been under constant medical care since being hit by a hit-and-run driver in 2012. After apparently making progress in the last few weeks, he finally succumbed to his injuries during an emergency ambulance ride to hospital early Monday morning. Our condolences to his family and loved ones and thank you to him...

It’s been revealed that an incredible 88,000 people attended last weekend’s MCM London Comic Con, smashing the previous record of 76,000 set at the May event earlier this year. For the first time ever, stalls and events were spread across both sides of the ExCel London building, making for a huge expansion from 25,000 to 34,000 square metres. Last Saturday at the London MCM Expo, the big names from the UK anime industry gave an insight into what’s happening in the UK market. The panel saw the head of Manga Entertainment UK (Jerome Mazandarani), head of MVM Entertainment (Tony Allen), along with a representative from Kaze UK (Andrew Partridge) and the UK Anime News Network (Chris MacDonald). Anime giants Manga UK have announced a list of additional cinemas throughout the country, that will be showing the upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh! Movie. Through their Twitter page, Manga UK listed several cinemas where the Yu-Gi-Oh! Bonds Beyond Time movie will be available to watch, and will be also shown in 3D in selected cinemas. Manga UK have worked closely with Picturehouse Cinemas and Everman Cinemas to make this possible. The list of applicable cinemas...
